Welcome to Encore Dance & Song

Welcome to Encore Dance & Song

We are a Banbury area based dance school for boys and girls of all ages.  As well as our Banbury Section we hold classes in King's Sutton and Shenington.  Look at our venue tab for a class that suits you.

Due to numerous requests we are now holding toddler classes at all our venues.  We have found that all toddlers are different - some want to dance on their own right away, some sit and watch for a few weeks and then get up and are step perfect - some want their parents to dance with them initially, which is enjoyed by both parties alike!

As well as classical ballet and tap our freestyle modern classes are very popular.  They contain warm up and cool down exercises and dancing choreographed pieces to popular and chart music.

We hold examinations (IDTA) twice a year and hold an annual show for each section. Everyone gets involved in these productions and it is very exciting choosing the themes and the music and sorting out the costumes, etc.  Our shows are held at The Mill Theatre in Banbury which is an excellent venue for this type of show with professional lighting and stage management.

We do not advertise apart from this web-site.  Most of our pupils come on recommendation from present pupils. The dance school is now in its 12th year. We do like to keep our classes small so each pupil receives exactly the same attention and demonstration can be clearly seen.  We therefore have a waiting list for some classes.

ALL CLASSES ARE TAUGHT BY RACHAEL (EVANS) FOSTER WHO IS THE PRINCIPAL.

Dancing is one of the oldest and most sociable forms of entertainment. To dance is to find an expression of oneself, to enjoy life and make friends. We are here for all who want to have fun and learn to dance.
